:) Friendly comment of the day :) unpinned version for mobile phones who dont see pinned posts!! When accepting member requests I am thrilled to say that at least HALF are NOT AMERICANS! It is wonderful to be a truly international group! It may not be noticeable because many of these members come from countries where English is not spoken. ALSO, we used to have about 2% MEN. Now I think at least 25% of our new members are men! That is great because so often only women rodent lovers congregate. As an addendum, hints for people requesting membership: Because we can get 50 requests a day, we often get quite far behind. So first: IN AN EMERGENCY PM ME, Christine Fogu, Jeannie Denyes, AND Pauline Hanson. We do almost all of the accepting, and one of us has to see the pm quickly. PM-ing just one of us is also acceptable when you want in even as a non emergency. Other than that, when we see your name, the people who get in on the first pass have to either have some info like school, town, marital status, etc; or have a rodent, rabbit, or ferret (we figure these are unlikely to be spambot photos) photo as profile or banner; or be added by someone; or have a friend who is a member. If you dont make it through that, you may be delayed by days, sorry smile emoticon. You will get in on the second pass if you have rodent/ferret/rabbit pics on your wall; have more than 15 friends; play games; have more than one photo of the same person.... these are some of the easy ways we tell you are human (that is al we care about). If your profile is completely private, you may wait quite a while if you dont have mobile phone pics! And lastly, if for some reason your profile is black, write to us because you will be banned on the first pass!!
