On or around Wednesday of this week, Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro will offer an amendment which prohibits any government funds from being used to implement FSISs proposed poultry inspection rule. Post it on your webpage, if you have one -- it will send a strong signal to Congress and the White House that consumers dont want USDA inspectors replaced by sorters paid by industry - we dont want the fox guarding the henhouse!
