Friends, 9 years ago today I felt a very heavy weight on my shoulders. I was concerned for the population of Jackson County. I can never replace all the losses so many had but I assure you I cared and still do. I do want to thank the so very many that assisted in any way they could and the many volunteers that assisted so many. The resilience of our communities shined even through its darkest hours. The losses can never be recovered but the gain of so many new friendships helps relieve the pains of the losses. I have read many testimonials posted on my page and I hope that all are healing well. I have carried a burden many do not know. When 138,000 people are under your advice and guidance so to speak any loss suffered is a loss to me as well. I hope all that have had such losses are doing better now. We all shall never forget the blow we had and the hassles afterwards with so many issues including our own insurance companies. I wish everyone a safe and joyful Labor Day weekend.
