Friends, I agree with the firing of Coach Fox. I appreciate the major restructuring Fox did to accommodate the... ummm... unique talents of Tim Tebow with enough success to win a first-round playoff game. I appreciate the division titles, and win percentages across four seasons that created by John Foxs leadership. But what I do not appreciate is how awful the Broncos have looked in virtually every big game. For example, we were humiliated in every facet of the game in last years Super Bowl, right? AND THEN both Seattle (game 3) and New England (game 9) trounced us by exposing the fact that very little hand changed for the Broncos since the Super Bowl drubbing... despite the major infusion of talent made possible by John Elways masterful trades and drafts. Seattle played their game, and out-footballed us along all the cracks and holes in the team. But New England... well, Belachick sliced us apart with his analysis of everything that Fox and the coordinators arent smart or capable enough to fix. That New England game told me we werent going to do schmidt in the post-season. Why? Because Fox and company had learned... nothing. So, friends, its not that we lost but HOW we lost to Indy that got Fox fired. It was just like all the other times. After awhile, this time, baby, its gonna be different just doesnt cut it any more.
