Friends, I have been so lucky, so very fortunate, to be able to fashion the life I am leading and as a show of dedication to and gratitude for that--for the simple grace of having time to sit and think, absorb and listen, learn and practice--I can only say that I am continuing the hard work I consider necessary to bring to fruition all that I hope comes next. That’s all--I just wanted to tell you that in case you felt like you hadn’t heard from me in a while. While I’m hard at work, there’s a few opportunities to hear some music from me and others. Starting with Sunday, August 17 @ 2PM EST, I’m excited to welcome BACK to the Listen In with ellen cherry stage: Femi the Dri Fish and David Ross performing as The 5th L. Tune in to ellencherry. to hear new material and catch up on what they’ve been doing for the past year! Saturday, August 23rd @ 8PM, I’ll be performing as part of a co-bill (this means I get a full set!) with The No Fuss No Feather’s Roadshow at the Creative Alliance. Be well. It’s back to work I go.
