Friends, I need help. My porch is in serious need of repair. Ive got some dry rot, and big holes in the roof. Its beyond my skill to fix. With me living in DC and Ami just starting a job we dont have much cash but even when we did we couldnt find a contractor to take such a small job. We got a ticket. We tried to get a grant from the city but were denied because I make too much money (but of course they didnt take into account that I live in DC to make that money). So Im between a rock and a hard place. Im out of ideas. I know you are brilliant (because you are my friends) and I bet more than one of you know of a way we can find help to fix the porch.
