Friends, I put it to you: Is there a funnier movie, I mean a spit-out-your-drink, my-gut-hurts-from-laughiing funnier movie than Blazing Saddles? Surely there are better movies which are also funny, and most certainly more intelligent movies which are also funny, but in terms of snorts per second and sniggers per square inch, I am hard pressed to think of anything that outdistances this vulgar and flatulent masterpiece.
