Friends, I rarely weigh in on Greece’s neighbors like Turkey when they experience a “Black Swan” event and mass protests. But I support some of the protestors in Turkey that reject Neo-Ottomanism (that subjugated Hellas for 400 years) and reject that the Mediterranean or wider region should be destabilized. Territorial sovereignty and then peace are good values for our children. But never peace at all cost. Not Greek defeatism.
