Friends, It’s late on Saturday night, but I feel the need to go ahead and send this message now. I’m deeply sad to have to pass along news about Bill Warrick. Bill had a seizure the evening while at dinner and died at Presbyterian Hospital a short time later. I have just returned from being there with Kaye and other friends. Obviously, this is completely unexpected news. Bill has been an usher at Northaven since the 1960s, and the head usher for decades. In our old building, Bill was the face people saw at the door. In latter years, Bill has faithfully organized our team of ushers, and never missed a Sunday. It is likely that on your first visit to Northaven, Bill was one of those who greeted you. Obviously, we will all need some time to come to terms with our shock. I told Kaye tonight that she was deeply loved by all at Northaven, and I know you will be praying for her, and for Bill, and for all of us as we grieve the loss of this Northaven saint.
