Friends, Ive been getting an alarming number of questions about so-called re-circumcisions, second circumcisions of boys, generally because the doctor has instructed the parents to forcibly retract whats left of the foreskin, and of course causing the inevitable problems - infection, inflammation, irritation, soreness - The WHOLE Network has addressed this growing problem, and of course please leave your own suggestions and links here to help parents navigate these treacherous waters, and Ive tagged several doctors & nurses who may have advice .... Unfortunately not all doctors are aware of the shift towards the loose circumcision. Upon encountering a child with today’s loose circumcision, an uninformed doctor may pressure the child’s parents to revise something that requires no revision whatsoever. This is why we are seeing a sharp increase in circumcision revision surgeries at this time.
