Friends, On the way home from meeting with a group of men on Monday evening, as I was heading northbound on the 5 freeway, I saw a car spun out on the southbound side of the 5 pointing North with an old person standing in front of the headlights in a dust cloud with a walker. My sons, Carter, Zack and I immediately exited the freeway at Parker Road and got immediately back on the 5 South and rolled up on a disabled 60 year old woman who had been run off the road by another driver. She said they just cut into my lane and nearly hit me. In her attempt to avoid a collision, she swerved and lost control of her vehicle spinning 4-5 times until she landed on the shoulder of the road where I saw her. I reached her at around 11 PM and thankfully, she was not hurt. We immediately called a tow truck to take her and what was left of her car to Culver City where she lives. Her registration is expired and she was petrified the Highway Patrol would impound the vehicle and we were hopeful that we could get her and the car home prior to them coming. We literally waited for over an hour for Castaic Towing to come and while we did, Carter offered to pray with Christanna Lang to help calm her and let her know she was loved by an awesome God! Not long after Carter finished, sure enough, the Highway Patrol arrived but the officers were totally cooperative. As a matter of fact, they gave the tow company hell when they tried to get out of taking her to Culver City! Two Great guys!!! Here’s are a few images of the car and Christanna right as we arrived. The bottom line is I need your help to raise a few bucks to replace her vehicle. I’ve already paid for her tow and am willing to put up another $500.00 toward the purchase of another used vehicle for her. I don’t think we’ll need more than $2,000.00 but between all of us, this should be a no brainer. If interested, let me know by PM and how much you think you would be willing to give. We’re not talking about a new car… just decent used transportation so she can get on with her life. Thank you all for your consideration... Christanna has been blown away by the “investment” that’s been made in her so far especially because we’re total strangers. These are the ministry opportunities I enjoy as there is absolutely NO WAY she could ever repay any of us for our generosity… She’s simply humbled by the love of Christ that’s been expressed through his people. Let’s blow her totally out of the water and help her get back on her feet. Thanks for your consideration and generosity. Just watch how the Lord blesses you in your effort to serve in this way. Love you all for your consideration,
