Friends, This is what I posted on my site, Electschreck. No matter what the result of the election is, my family and I will stand with you. That includes the local Native population. Please tell me if Im off at all. You are a very impressive group and I will seek sources to help defray your costs. Count me in as a member. This land is my country, in a very DNA, ancient way. My ancestors instilled in me the importance of the land and its people. Williams, in my opinion, has declared war against us. STAND AND FIGHT This will no doubt become the Lexington and Concord Moment of our lifetimes unless we elect the right people TO STOP IT. In fact, I havent seen govt overreach like this since 1775. YES, its this big; its this important. Today I took a ride with Lancaster Against the Pipeline or https://facebook/groups/LancasterAgainstPipeline/ I will now call them Landowners Against the Govt Land-Grab from Williams Weapon of Mass Destruction (WWMD). I have so much to say about this tour that was put together by the affected LAND OWNERS in the route of the PROPOSED WWMD. Here are some quick take aways. This comes from the highly-educated LAND OWNERS THEMSELVES, people like you and me: 1. This is NOT a simple pipe line. It is something totally new, revolutionary, and industrial. It has a blast radius of about 100 meters that can EASILY be lit by a pipe bomb, killing hundreds, if not thousands. 2. It is not necessary, nor worth the cost. There is a pre-existing line that runs from the Poconos through New Jersey, and to the sea. WWMD wants to go through us simply because its cheaper. Why cheaper? Because its cleared farmland! Farmland that we HELPED preserve with out tax dollars! 3. They will totally RUIN the affected peoples property and they will only be compensated for about 5% of it--thats all! WWMD has never offered to buy them out lock-stock-and-barrel. 4. NOT ONE GOP candidate or office holder took the tour with these people...NOT ONE. There was one township supervisor from Conestoga but he did not mention his affiliation (assumed GOP). His stance was remain neutral so as not to get sued by WWMD. I said: You need to TAKE A STAND LIKE OUR FOUNDERS DID. It all started at the municipal level with townships writing remonstrances to the king. 5. This WWMD will TOTALLY CHANGE the look and fabric of western Lancaster County. Totally. I am not exaggerating. And because of the added pollution to the river, eastern Lancaster County farmers will be further punished by the out-of-control EPA. 6. I am not willing to put my neighbors through this. I would rather be limited to a few hours electricity OR fill the gap with COAL before we go total renewable. The difference between COAL pollution and this gas pollution is limited and if theres a coal accident, it simply falls to the ground. If theres an accident with this NEW, REVOLUTIONARY PIPELINE, its a terrorists dream. Some right-wing anarchist or ISIS operative would LOVE to see this NEW TYPE of pipeline built. 7. NOT ONE land owner was asked by the local GOP if they wanted it. How then, can Pitts or Aument say that the majority wants it? Which majority? The board room in Tulsa? 8. Many land owners made it a point that they have to get permission from their townships to do anything: add a shed, plow, sell ice cream, etc. WWMD can now come in and DO ANYTHING. We enforce such Draconian standards upon farmers because of the bay and WWMD DOES NOT HAVE TO FOLLOW ANY OF IT AND THEIR ADDED POLLUTION WILL FORCE OTHER FARMERS in our county TO DROP PRODUCTION even more to comply with the bay regulations (that means you, too, people in eastern Lancaster County). 9. The route RUNS RIGHT THROUGH Conestoga Town, the place where William Penn made his treaty with the Iroquois League (Conestoga Town was regarded as an Iroquois consulate), and the site of the Paxton Indian Massacre in 1763. Its also the place where Natives lived for THOUSANDS OF YEARS before the arrival of the Dutch and English. The Natives will not take this lightly, that, I can assure you. 10. We need to consider WWMD as an INVASION, as thats what it is. This is NOT a simple pipeline and we are not exaggerating. I learned to NEVER exaggerate overseas. We have NO CHOICE but to stand and FIGHT or never, ever, call ourselves Americans again. We all need to join Lancaster Against the Pipeline to stop this by legal means. If we dont, were going to head down a path where we dont want to go. IF the plows come, then the fight will enter a whole new state, that is my prediction. This issue should attract all people: radical right wing land ownership rights people (many of the affected farms are semi-self-sustaining with springs, this WWMD will end that), or radical left-wing self-sustaining energy people, or moderate, this just isnt right, people. WAR has been declared against us. We NEED TO TAKE A STAND. Please, vote for the Democratic ticket to stop this now, in its tracks, before it escalates, and it will.
