Friends a burden is on my heart to share. Its a bit embarrassing to have it on a public forum but in any case the concern plays out in the open space. This is the point offered humbly for prayers. We have just finished camp meetings and now enter into election period from local church level. What is unique this time is that the elections wont end at the local church but will see us have new officers to the general conference. In the past, this season has been characterized by behavior of a selfish political nature and not a few have lost respect for the officials resulting from such proceedings. What is tragic is that due to a failure to lean on God, we have often misplaced or displaced talent in the various lines of work. Persons who barely have the interest of the cause have held positions of responsibility and been a source of positive harm. the pace of the work could be much accelerated should we get the right leadership in place. This worldliness in election time should not be heard of among Gods people. Now majority of us will not be in the assemblies where the decisions are made but we still have access to the audience chamber with God. fervent prayer is needed at this time that Gods will may prevail and that no machinations of men will thrive. We need the right persons in the right positions and only divine guidance can achieve that. Please encourage no rumors or idle talk on this matter. let no tribal or earthly sentiment be heard or nursed in the mind. For those who will seat in the assemblies or who have access to those who will so do, please impress upon all the shortness of time and the need to get our act together by getting the right leaders and that begins through right process. Pray with me over this matter that God will get His people into His positions His way. looking to and hastening the second return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Shalom
