Friends, after 20 years as a criminal prosecutor--wonderful, - TopicsExpress

Friends, after 20 years as a criminal prosecutor--wonderful, rewarding years-- the time has come for me to explore private sector options. I am turning 50 in August, and college bills loom. I have maxed out salary wise, which means I will only get COLAs as long as I remain with DOJ. (Given the current political climate, we know how meaningless these are likely to be). And fundamentally, I have done my public service, so it is time, I think, for something new and exciting. I ask, foremost, for your prayers as I begin this discernment process. I ask for your ideas. And I ask those of you in Midland-Odessa to keep your ears open for a law firm or corporation that could put my talents to use. If I may be a bit immodest, I am a very good lawyer--a graduate of Columbia Law School with more than 70 jury trials under my belt, some quite complex. I am open to any firm or entity that values ethics and treats people well. I would be grateful if you would spread the word. Thanks to all.
