Friends and family, with great joy for answered prayers and bitter sweet feelings, we are leaving the Dallas area and moving to Lufkin, Tx. Ashley and I have been praying for answers and we received them not long ago. I was offered a position to be a 3rd grade bilingual teacher in Lufkin ISD. We are excited to move to Lufkin to be close to Ashleys family and father, who, most of you know, is seriously disabled from a series of strokes a few years ago. We are sad to leave all of our close friend and family from the Dallas area, and we are also filled with Joy to know we will be close to other family and friend s here in Lufkin. We are still in transition and your prayers will be greatly appreciated. Our house in Richardson is now on the market. Lili starts her first day at a new school tomorrow in Lufkin, Texas where she will be joined with her cousin in the same classroom. I also start my first day at my new job tomorrow, and I am thrilled to be back in the classroom. We have made some amazing relationships in Dallas and we know we will continue to keep in touch and hopefully see everyone soon. We still have lots of extended family in Dallas as well, so you will certainly see us around. Thank you to everyone who has been supportive and encouraging through this transition and process. It is not easy to leave so many loved ones and caring friends and colleagues. Moving is difficult, however we know with Gods Grace, anything is possible.
