Friends and fellow Yes campaigners, we are grieving today for our lost dream. Some of us are angry. Some are in denial. Some of us are going to be depressed about the whole thing. We feel betrayed, isolated, bereft. Our hope has been crushed. But if we are hopeful people then hope will rise again in some new form on some other day, but not today. There are three videos doing the rounds that purport to show evidence of vote rigging. They are analysed in the video below. The lady exchanging papers from one pile to the other is likely asleep at the wheel. How many thousand papers has she already processed at this stage. It’s the wee hours of the morning and she is likely exhausted. The pile is quite new and she has placed some papers on the wrong pile. She corrects her mistake. That’s all I see. The mixed Yes and No papers sitting on the table marked NO have not yet been counted. This footage appeared before papers had been counted, and counted papers are not stored in that manner. The guy in the hi-vis vest is writing something on the front of a bundle of papers, then bands them together. Most likely these are spoiled papers, being marked as such for examination by a superior or for storage. There was no vote rigging. We lost, and we need to move through the grieving process and accept that as quickly as possible. Talk to friends and relatives, even the other side. I think it will help if we all agree to work together for the benefit of all in whatever way we have to. Democracy in action. Consensus achieved. Now we know. youtu.be/LbJif7vISQg
