Friends, family, we need your positive energy sent our way today. The VA administration made a clerical error regarding Tams pension payment FOUR years ago that they caught six months ago - THEIR error. Tam has been working through the VA office here to straighten out the situation. Last month we received a letter that it had gone to a committee for consideration. Last night we get online to pay bills and notice: no pension payment. Called first thing this morning and they tell us its been put towards your indebtedness. With no notification. The entire amount. This means we have no income for this month and potentially next month. We are freaking out and headed for the VA office in Charleston. Oh, and the kicker? The phone call ends with, thank you for your service.
