Friends, for those of you who do not know, Cambodia is experiencing very bad flooding right now in certain areas, particularly in the slum areas (where the people are among the poorest in the whole world and have nowhere else to go). Our friend, Sothea Da has been wading through the waters to try and help feed people in the slum area. They have a goal by the end of this week: to buy 40 packages of rice to help feed the families in the slums. Each family will be given a bag of rice to feed their family. Can you help us raise the money for them? 1 package of rice is only $20. They need enough money to buy 40 packages. Anything you can give would greatly help the people desperately trying to survive right now. My parents are going to be in Cambodia this week, so please contact me if you feel led to give, and I will let you know how to send the money.
