Friends in Faith, Considering the struggles of several in our congregation, the subject of Jesus as the Resurrection and the Life was timely on Sunday, as was the willingness of the Correllus family to - once again - fill in for our music while Donald was out. This Sunday, well wave our palms in celebration of Christs triumphal entrance into Jerusalem, but well also be combining Palm Sunday and Passion Sunday into a comprehensive encounter with the last week of Jesus life. As we prepare for Holy Week, we are offering a discernment hike - a chance to take some quiet to reflect on your faith journey - this Saturday, April 12. Well meet at the church at 3pm and carpool down to Little Stony Point (also known as Sandy Beach) for a walk around the peninsula. This was set up to help members of our Presbyterians 101 discern their relationship with our congregation, but it is open to all who need some time and conversation to reflect on their own journeys. Well begin and end the walk with some intentional silence and well let the Spirit lead our conversation as we walk along the Way...
