Friends in the Port Huron/Blue Water area - we are in need of empty bottles for an Earth Fair activity April 25, and 26, and need some help in collecting bottles this year. Every year for a number of years the Blue Water Audubon Society has sponsored an event to help kids make bird feeders by repurposing empty 20 oz. Hi-C, Gatorage or Vitamin Water bottles. We drill the clean empty bottles and help children make feeders with pencils, string and bird seed. We can only use 20 oz, Gatorade, Hi-C and Vitamin Water bottles. We need bottles that are rinsed out and stored with the caps off to help them to dry, but we need the caps too. If you know anyone who drinks these beverages and would save them in a plastic bag a member of Audubon will come to pick them up. Just message me. Thanks, Laurie Melms Laurie Dennis
