Friends, like any good researcher, I am looking for answers to a question. Many of you are far more worldly than me, having traveled internationally, or even lived in far off lands. So, here is my question: if you were going to move to a poor, dry, politically unstable country for at least a year to work, and you wanted to do so with a little "stuff" as possible, what would you take? This is not just a facebookey question, in that I may be doing such a thing soon, and thinking about how to do so well will be a focus for me in the next few weeks. So, my military friends, and world traveling friends, what should a man bring with him, what should his check list look like, how did you handle banking, medicines, etc.... Any help is, as always, appreciated.
