Friends of Kananaskis Needed, volunteers with strong backs for the Fox Creek Trail Help build a secure bridge crossing by creating gabion stone walls We are in need of volunteers on Saturday, August 10 to assist with building gabion walls on the Fox Creek Trail. The work involves gathering rocks and placing them in metal mesh cages in order to create a solid bridge crossing on the Fox Creek trail, an important section of the route to Elk Pass. The work requires a lot of bending so best suited to people with strong backs. You will be working in or near the creek so volunteers must not mind if they get wet.
