Friends of Missouri Mercantile, I want to let everyone know that we are closing our current location on Main St. Old Town St. Charles. We will be closed on Sunday Jan. 26. We have been able to get out of our lease. We are looking for a new location on S. Main St. We have found that we have been overpaying rent, had a 6 month delay in getting our wine license, and opened on main st. the wrong year. After checking around we found we were overpaying quite a bit on rent. Between that, no wine sales for 6 months, and a down year on main street, it’s been a very difficult year. With a friendlier rent we feel like we can turn things around. Follow us on facebook or go to our web site and join our mailing list to find out where we land.
