Friends of the Williamson Art Gallery and Museum Childrens Education Programme Summer 2014 The Friends of the Williamson Art Gallery & Wirral Museums Committee is looking for three practitioners for the six week summer programme. Each practitioner will be responsible for two sessions/workshops to take place on Sunday afternoons during the six summer weekends of the school holidays. The first workshop will be either a drop in or bookable (as the practitioner wishes) and the second (repeated workshop) would be designated for children with disabilities and their carers. The practitioner will also be responsible for a training session, of no less than an hour, for the volunteer helpers, sometime prior to the workshops. Payment will be £500 for the two sessions and training and includes material/resource costs. Practitioners need to submit proposals by 30 June 2014. Proposals for both workshops and volunteer training must include: 1. The aims and objectives (expected outcomes) of the sessions 2. A session outline or lesson plan including any resource requirements of the gallery 3. Evaluation criteria and method. Submissions should be made: by e-mail to FriendsWilliamson@gmail.
