Friends of the medIa Ghana Condemns Attack on Daily Graphic correspondent in Kumasi.... We as members of friends of the media Ghana are aware that journalists are not superior beings but why should a journalist be assaulted for asking a question? Mr. Daniel Kenu, the Ashanti Regional correspondent of the Daily Graphic newspaper was attacked by Baffour Gyan and some macho men just after a press briefing by GFA on Wednesday. We see this act by Baffour Gyan and his macho men as a shameful act and should not be encouraged. Though some have said it was not an appropriate avenue for such questions to be asked by the journalist we still dont see any reason why he should be abused personally. We will urge the Police to investigate the issue and put some measures in place to help protect the media in Ghana. Friends Of The Media, Developing a strong and vibrant media world.
