Friends, right now lets focus on seeding our movement with like-minded and committed Filipinos for a better Philippines and organize in a manner to ensure that our efforts will be effective and efficient. Our communications team that is being put together now will have a lot of work to do to articulate what we stand for and will do in pursuit of our mission. We all need to understand the terms we use when we express ourselves. For example, when we use the word inclusive it pertains to the ultimate objective of reducing poverty by increasing the opportunities of people to benefit from an expanding pie (education, employment, basic services, etc). When we use the words transparency we also refer to reducing corruption; accountability has to do with punishing wrongdoing to curb the culture of entitlement and impunity. As for now we are gathering together in the hope of changing ourselves, society and government for the better for the purpose of taking back our country from the clutches of vested interests; recover our moral moorings; and fight for a bright future for our nations children. That is our mission and the glue that binds us together. Lets project that at all times to also remind ourselves why were gathered in friendship in this site.
