Friends, we ask that you remember two things; 1, we are here to help horses, some from bad people, some from good people, and 2. Sometimes good people find themselves in trouble. I dont really want to talk about the people, I want to tell you about a filly we are helping. She is six weeks old and was injured a month ago. Medical intervention thus far was not healed her, she has grown worse. She has an infection we think in her joint and may have a fracture, as well as compounding issues now. We were asked yesterday to help. Today we had our vet do a full work up, including X-rays. We are waiting for a full evaluation from surgeons to determine if she has a chance. It does not look good. If anyone wants to help us with her expenses that would be great, but if anyone has a problem with this use of funds, just let us know. She is resting tonight with her mother.
