Friends with kids.... I BEG you. Please put your personal beliefs, feelings and disagreements with your childs teacher aside. THANK your childs teacher!! Write a note, send a $5 gift card...ANYTHING!!! You may not always agree with what a teacher does, you may not understand why they do it, you may hate the work they send home...but PLEASE know that 99% of teachers do this because the love and care for your child!! When they go home at night and rock their children, they are thinking about your child and your childs success. When the weekend comes and your student fails a test, they spend their off time racking their brain on how to help your child understand. When night comes, they wake at 2am panicking about how best to make your child love school. REMEMBER that sooo much of what your childs teacher does is out of their control. They do not write the curriculum or the tests. They spend each waking moment thinking our the most exciting way to teach your children the required skills. ABOVE ALL.,.. If you have a question...go to the teacher!!!! They want your child to be successful!!!!
