From Amy: my husband has PTSD really bad from serving in OEF/ 2003-2004. He is having a horrible time. I being his wife, finally got him talked into getting the help he needs from through the VA. No one truly doesnt know what a soldier goes through until you walk in their shoes. I help my husband alot by talking with him even when he doesnt want to. But it tends to help. We have a beautiful family and our children dont fully understand why their daddy is so easily distraught and short fused. With the love and support he gets from us, makes him feel secure too. He deals with the daily struggles of life after war, nightmares, sweats, and relives the war he was in every night. Alot of things in the surroundings trigger these feelings. We love him no matter what. God Bless him and all our military
