From Anne Keen. Hi Bez, Seasons greetings!! Just wondered if youd be kind enough to support my campaign against the discriminatory changes to the State Pension Law by posting the link below? A simple sign and share will suffice. The petition currently stands at 28,250. I will be presenting it next year before the elections. All I ask is that you take a minute to read some of the comments left by those who have signed my petition. They are heartbreaking and really emphasise the devastation, despair the changes have caused. Whilst everyone will be affected by the discriminatory changes to the State Pension Law, over 500,000 women born on or after 6th April 1951 have been affected the most. Some of theses women (I am one of them) were given as little as 18 months notice of the changes, leaving our retirement plans in tatters. The Coalition Government reneged on their word as to when the changes would be made i.e. they promised it would be no sooner than 2020 for women and 2016 for men. Nothing new there then!! Most people have been thrown on the scrapheap at 50+ so what chance is there of anyone over 60 getting a job
