[From Aunjaneya Kumar Singh, IAS] Handing over charge today to a very capable and dynamic officer Mr Tshewang Gyachho with a great satisfaction that I tried my level best to serve the people of East District in capacity of the District Collector and I am very grateful to the Government for this opportunity. I am very thankful to all my superiors/higher authorities, colleagues and all the officers and employees of the East District, especially the office of the District Collector, the Office of the East District Zilla Panchayat, the Office of the ADC (Dev) and the Office of the SP/East for their support, encouragement and assistance in accomplishing all the tasks assigned by the Government. Sincere gratitude to the officers and employees of all other departments, offices and agencies and public representatives who extended their enthusiastic support to me. Special thanks to the teams which led General Election-2014, the team which is still working on strengthening the public delivery system as per desires and directions of the Hon’ble Chief Minister and the core team of the officers and staff of the Collectorate who worked enthusiastically in extended hours for betterment of services in the Collectorate. I have been fortunate to get affectionate cooperation from all sections of the District and higher level and feel indebted and blessed. Sincere apology to all those who got disappointed by me at any point or time. Have great memories to cherish and to encourage me to keep contributing my level best to the State in future tasks assigned by the Government. Best wishes to Mr. Tshewang! Bid adieu!
