From Bill Shorten - Labor leader Bill Shorten yesterday accused the government of presiding over the closure of a large slice of the Australian economy. Referring to Qantas, he said: “They want to turn the spirit of Australia into the ghost of Australia. ‘Here’s another company where we won’t fight for jobs.’ Listen to the rollcall: Holden, Toyota, Alcoa, Electrolux, Gove, Qantas. This man, his grossly incompetent party, and his greedy unions have caused this problem. He has made his own members too expensive.
