From Brittany: hmmmmm hmm hmm hm. well our new investigator Jim turns out to be a little flaky. hes in one of his hiding stages right now. I guess it has to do with his post traumatic stress disorder. but thats alright. I am confident we will be able to get him where he wants to be. I know he still wants this in his life. it just may take a little longer than at first was anticipated and he may need a little bigger push. But he will get there. for some reason, I am just not so stressed about it. which I thought I might be and which has happened in the past when something like this surfaces. it might be because of Dale! we have moved on from that new investigator excitment with Jim onto ... Dale and his wife, Joy! (Dale says that she lives up to her name isnt that cute?! ) Dale found US, he contacted US. he came up to us while we were returning to our bikes after a door didnt answer. he asked us if we were lds missionaries and we said yes. he said God Bless you! we expressed gratitude for his comment and asked how he knows about the lds faith. he went on to talk about how he went to a nativity activity our ward had over christmas time and how he has had lds friends and has always admired them. when we gave him a copy of the Book of Mormon he said what an honor and how beautiful. he introduced us to his wife and we are going to help them clean their garage soon and meet with them sunday. We are so grateful for the Lords tender mercy in letting us meet this sweet man and his wife. we hope we can sufficiently take care of this miracle the Lord has given to us. Dale and his wife seem like the type of people who mean what they say and keep their word, says Sister McBride because I havent had alot of experience. though Ive been here for 6 months, I have had a lot of experience with flaky people instead of ones like Dale and Joy. I know that the Lord provides and shows us His love for us through tender mercies. We didnt pray to have a man named Dale to brighten our day and week but we were still given the reminder the the Lord knows us and that this is His work. what glorious experiences a mission can bring! I hope I can remember the things I learn and have them change me for the better. Love you all Sister Beasley
