From Burden to Blessing. On this Eve of a New Year I elected to take some time to visit with individuals from our church whose life circumstances have brought them to depend upon others and to deliver the flowers from the holiday. What was initially another task quickly became something of a blessing in that they have given me more this day than I could ever them. It is the reminder that many things in our life are disguised as burdens but are in fact blessings. The choice is ours to blind ourselves with resentment, negativity or sorrow rather than embracing whatever the situation may be so that we can see the reality of the blessing inside. It is my true wish for all that this greater awareness be realized so that the hopes of 2015 will come true!
