From CNN: As part of the spending bill Democrats and Republicans have also agreed to attach policy provisions on a range of issues -- including measures to roll back environmental regulations, rules for possession of marijuana in the District of Columbia, and changes to financial regulations for banks. Now Congress begins to roll back as much of the social progress, of the last 6 years, as it can. On principal mostly. And wanting to keep their Patrons (oil, gas, and banking corporations) happy. Our congress is currently against many environmental protections,, non coal & gas energy advocacy, womens rights, gay rights, non Christian religions, and minoritys rights . Measures that have been passed in the last 6 years. In many states, the government is putting the squeeze on alternative energy, to favor oil and gas. Its roll back time, and the people of America are letting it happen by choosing to be one of the lowest voter turnout populations in the Western World.
