From Chester Borough Recreation Director Mark your calendars for the 5th annual Star Gazing Party on 10/17. Have you ever wanted to learn more about the night sky? Then join us on Friday October 17th beginning at 7pm, as we learn some planet and star basics by looking through telescopes and binoculars. Equipment and instruction provided by members of the New Jersey Astronomical Association. This 5th annual event is free and open to all ages, brought to you by Chester Borough Recreation. We will meet at the Chester Borough Municipal Building located at 50 North Road. Turn right into driveway and right again up toward building. Star gazing will take place outdoors in the grass area, parking in lower lot. Bring flashlights and dress for the weather.
