From Craig: It has been a marvel to me that Ashley has kept this blog running for so long. She has carried me thru so much that I dont have the words to describe what she has been to me. Tonight she had to just stop and rest and asked me to update the page. The Facebook prompt ask whats on your mind Anyone who knows me knows that that could be a dangerous thing to ask. My CEA levels were increased warranting a day at the hospital for CT scanning and discussion of next steps. The scans were not bad to use someone elses words. No major changes since the last one. But back to what is on my mind...Love your family every day, tomorrow is not promised. When life hits you hard, pick yourself up and keep pushing on, we know not the future. One of my best friends Prevo years ago had vocal cord paralysis. Still affects him today. The great tragedy here is that the guy is an Uber talented musician. He kept on moving forward and this week they put him on the air in Nashville! Prevo came and played guitar and sang some songs for me when I was first diagnosed. I can still here his raspy almost whisper of a voice telling me youre gonna beat this thing, you gotta believe He deserves for his song to hit number 1. Mrs. Laurie started radiation today I believe. She has been on my mind as well. Please send up a prayer for her and her family. I wish I could name all of the folks that encouraged me just today. Mom and Dad, Ashley, Buster. Jason, Chris just to name a few. I am so blessed to have been the recipient of so much love and support. Words cannot describe it. That is what I have been thinking about a great deal the past few days facing the Giants of fear and doubt. Faith, Hope and Love abide. The greatest of these is love. How then, should I dispair ever?
