From Deborah for Feline Friday: As some of you may have seen, my gigantic cat Mystic had to have surgery on Monday to have a lump removed. (The entire looongggg sage is at my blog deborahblake.blogspot if you are curious.) The upshot was that I had to try and find a way to keep him from scratching at the incision on the back of his neck. I tried a nifty (kitty pirate-themed) cat harness first, but it didnt really go high enough and he started seriously scratching at it. So I went back to the pet store and got him this cool coat (intended for small dogs...I said he was large) instead. So far he seems a little happier with it, and it definitely covers the stitches better. Anyone else have a kitty surgery tale to relate? Or, you know, pictures of cats in cute outfits will do.
