Quick story... was dropping off some bats at a local vendor and came across a young slugger and his pops in the cage... Kids swing was sweet... but he flat out missed almost every pitch. His pops was in his earhole every time... Youre pulling out! Keep your eye on the ball! And the more advice he gave his son... the more he struggled. The gears in his brain were turning... BUT it was too much to concentrate on. You might remember the movie Forrest Gump where Tom Hanks plays a character believed to be mentally challenged. In reality his simplicity was genius. When Forrest ran back kicks for Bear Bryant at Alabama he was told one thing... Just keep runnin Forrest! Run he did. Scoring touchdowns left and right. And thats what I want your player to focus on... just hit the ball. Nothing more, nothing less. Stop worrying about mechanics all the time... the fun of the game is hitting the ball.
