Weidley, President of Marine Corps University: Dear General Draude, I would like to personally thank you for the generous contributions that the Marine Corps University Foundation (MCUF) has provided and is planned to provide to the University for Fiscal Year 2014. As you know, MCUFs incredible support makes so many things possible here at the University, from lecture series, to endowed chairs, battlefield studies, and other educational opportunities . While you talk about MCUF filling the gap between what we get and what we need, I would submit that MCUF fills the gap between a high-class institution and a world-class institution.
