From Glory to Glory? But we all, with open face beholding as IN a glass (mirror) the GLORY of the Lord, are changed into the same image from GLORY TO GLORY even as by the Spirit of the Lord. II Corinthians 3:18 Over the the last few years of dealing with intense trials that have ranged from the possibility of REAL prison time (for something we did not do) to illnesses that have not only come close to killing us, but have also devastated us financially, it has pleased the Father to redefine so much of what I at one time perceived as Biblical truth. Most recently He has let me see the From Glory to Glory contained IN the above verse is IN reality From weakness to weakness. And He said unto me, My Grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength (POWER) is made perfect IN weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather GLORY IN MY INFIRMITIES (weaknesses), that the POWER of Christ may rest upon me. II Corinthians 12:9 If only the average church going believer could see how their own weaknesses, whatever they may be, are IN fact their only REAL asset, and the only way they will ever experience the REAL POWER of God IN their everyday lives? Knowing this truth is also a gigantic piece to the puzzle of knowing the truth of who we are IN Christ. So if we refuse to embrace our weakness, i.e. our absolute inability to live the Christian life IN our own strength, then by default we also miss out on seeing and experiencing His POWER at work IN and through us!
