One was asking for directions, the other was a guy hitting on her but in a manner that only the most rabid feminist would call insulting or demeaning). So what conclusion are we to draw from this? Some would say it just proves that America is steeped in rape culture and everywhere else is far superior but those oikophobes (look it up) are taking too myopic a view, like the idiots who crow that red states take the most government assistance when its actually the deep blue population centers in those states, the cities and their slums, that are sucking the hardest off the public teat. Nope, we have to focus in closer. New York City. Its where Hollaback (the organization that made the NY version of this video) is based. Like all good urban liberals they believe New York is the center of the universe and everywhere else is exactly the same and other places dont matter anyway. New York City is arguably the bluest city in America. Its deep Democrat Liberal territory, where even the successful Republicans have to bend on some issues. With the exception of Rudy Guilianis (one of the few aforementioned successful Republicans) time as mayor homelessness has always been tolerated. Traditional mores and values are regularly mocked. Poverty is subsidized in a big way. A lot of guys have grown up in a home without a father because, lets face it, Daddy Government means Mom doesnt need one. Progressives built this catcall culture, in any place where they had the numbers and the power to influence the cultural landscape. Aint all of Americas fault. Not by a long shot.
