From Jacob Toporek, Executive Director, State Association of Jewish Federations: The FY 2015 State Budget signed last night by Governor Chris Christie includes $400,000 for a second year of funding for the state’s HSAP (Holocaust Survivor Assistance Program). The State Association of Jewish Federations is grateful for the affirmative response from our federations, JFS agencies and community partners in providing the advocacy support that were the key factor in ensuring that the needed funding was approved by the Governor and the Legislature. JFCS joins with Jacob in thanking our community for a wonderful team effort in helping to address the vital concerns of the Jewish community.
