From Jennifer Brett: After I filed this story yesterday I went to Walmart and spent 2 hours filling a big plastic bin with everything we could possibly need to weather another night on 285. On the way out I saw a homeless guy with a dog in the parking lot holding a sign that said, Anything helps. I gave him everything I had in my wallet, about $100, and it was then that the worst week ever finally got better.
