From KUZZ News: The CHP has closed Highway 166 at Soda Lake Road due to snow. Cars have been getting stuck. The CHP says Caltrans has been using graders, but the highway remains closed, westbound. CHP in Santa Maria are working to close eastbound lanes. Cuddy Valley Road is also closed, but Lockwood Valley road is still open. I-5 is open at the moment, and graders are trying to keep it clear, but may close it overnight. Due to the high volume of traffic over the Grapevine,chains are NOT allowed. Pack warm, with plenty of food and water in case you get stuck in any closures. Scott Thackrey
