From Matt late Tuesday: Angelica had both legs reopened, and she is hooked back up to the wound vacs. She is getting two different antibiotics, along with some nutrients, and a bag of fat emulsion, dripping right into her bloodstream. The surgeon expects to keep the wound vacs on for several days, draining the fluid, while the antibiotics do their work. This wasnt unexpected. While we hope and pray for nothing but forward progress and good news, we realize that her life is still in Gods hands, and that this isnt necessarily a setback, but another step forward, another day.
