From Michelle...· Alright Mamas, I am in need of some suggestions! I have successfully nursed 3 children now, they self weaned at 15 months 14 months, and well, Im still going at 18 months with this little guy. I have no problem with still nursing, but what I am really starting to have a problem with is the amount of night time feeds. For awhile he was starting to do really well and only wake maybe 1 time during the night and I was getting some sleep. Recently, however, he is starting to wake about every hour and a half to two hours like he did when he was a new born. He is fine when he is in my bed and will sleep for hours, but this doesnt leave much cuddle time or sleep for me cause I am stuck in one position and constantly concerned he is going to roll off the bed. Why would he all of a sudden not want to be in his crib? Why will he now only sleep in my arms? I can tell he is only nursing for comfort so I have tried leaving the room, letting him whimper. It only gets worse. He has actually moved the crib away from the wall because of him banging it so hard. Please dont tell me to CIO because he has made himself throw up in the past from crying so hard.
