From Ms Murdock herself: https://vimeo/100524181
1) Is there any kind of a God who exists, who cares about us, what we do to each other and the planet? 2) Did life on earth develop exactly the way that evolutionary scientists say it did, and in the same time frame? 3) Is there an afterlife? 4) Have your writings been peer reviewed by anyone other than Richard Carrier?
1. It depends on how you define God. If you look at God as the universe, then we can say theres a god. If we view God as the character in the Bible, then theres no such anthropomorphized male god. Unfortunately, in my experience, theres no single giant supernatural force that gives a rats ass about us or the planet. For more information, see my Gospel According to Acharya S: stellarhousepublishing/gospel.html 2. I cant say for sure how life developed here, but the mainstream scientific perspective is as good as it gets at the moment. I do perceive that there is more to our existence than just the material, and Ive fantasized about pre-existence, etc. 3. All I can say is that humanity around the world has wished there to be an afterlife, and many thousands of people have claimed to have experienced some sort of transcendental state. I continue to be interested in mediums such as Theresa Caputo who claim to speak to the dead - people keep trying to refute her, but I find her to be intriguing, as she has some pretty astoundingly specific hits. I have my own experiences, but I tend towards the skeptical as a scientific baseline. 4. Im surprised at the question, because it is well known that my writings have NEVER been studied in any depth by Richard Carrier. He knows next to NOTHING about them, while he dishonestly spews an endless stream of LIES about my work. You can find a list of my writings that have been reviewed by OTHERS at the same link where you can read all about Carriers vile and malicious lies: freethoughtnation/forums/viewtopic.php... In brief, heres a handy list: At least two articles in the Journal of Higher Criticism, reviewed by Drs. Robert M. Price and Darrell Doughty (deceased) Two articles in the Migration & Diffusion Journal, reviewed by Dr. Christine Pellech A Pre-Christian God on a Cross?, reviewed by Dr. Francesco Carotta Buddhisms Relation to Christianity: A Review, reviewed by Drs. Christian Lindnter and Michael Lockwood Was the Persian Goddess Anahita the Pre-Christian Virgin Mother of Mithra?, reviewed by Drs. Payam Nabarz and Kaveh Farrokh Maya mythology and its relationship to Christianity, reviewed by Dr. John Hoopes, professor of Mesoamerican anthropology at the University of Kansas Two articles in Bart Ehrman & the Quest of the Historical Jesus, reviewed by Dr. Robert M. Price and Frank Zindler Note also, however, that at the forum post linked above you will find a discussion of how peer review is often quite worthless. https://facebook/groups/rbebchomes/
