~From My Tears~ You ask me where Ive been I smile and kiss your tender lips *My love I just needed a little time To think about things that were giving me some trouble Do not worry my dearest love Ive sorted them all out Theres no need to have any doubt I just didnt want you to see me cry* Instead of telling her this I just heave a sigh As I pull a rose out from behind my back She smiles as I tell her I was thinking of you my darling dear The petals are still moist from my tears She asks Oh and what was you thinking about sweetheart as she smells the sweet fragrance I say to her this; I love the way you laugh at my stupid jokes The way your eyes light up when you notice me watching you sleep, Even when you pretend to be asleep I enjoy the way you take a deep breath, And hold it for that moment before you exhale I love how you blow softly on your coffee to cool it as you take each tender sip But most of all I love you for loving me You are my serenity to all the mistakes that we make In your understanding that I am doing the best that I can The way you tease me with the look you give without uttering a single word Even when I get you frustrated I still know that your love is there These are my thoughts that I just needed to share I just wanted you to know that Ive always know that you care Your love has helped me become a better man Without you Im not even sure that I could even stand As tears roll down her cheeks she smiles looking at me As they drop away the flower catches them so delicately She hugs me so fierce I never want to let her go I whisper to her If I could Id give you the moon That way you would know that my love for you is as crazy as a typhoon It could move mountains with its unnatural force All these things I think about as we continue our course © The Humble Poet ©
