From Phoenix with Love~ for Bailey AND Ruby Tuesday! Brad and Barbara have been following the adventures of Animal Village NM since they heard about our no-kill shelter from their friend and our supporter, Amanda F. They knew that soon theyd be ready for another dog, and meanwhile, theyve helped us by donating to rescue precious lives from death-row- for example, Bruno Mars! Sunday, Barbara got to meet Bruno, as he was playing in the park with his new family- just about to leave with him for his new home in Colorado! Barbara is an inspiring woman who is going to give a dream lifestyle to our dogs, beautiful Bailey, our Catahoula Leopard/Shepherd puppy, and exquisite Aussie blend baby, Ruby Tuesday. When Barbara had surgical issues with her legs, her answer was not to give up or resign herself to a life of inactivity. Barbaras response was to strengthen her legs by walking...then running...for more and more hours a day! At one point, Barbara was running up to seven hours a day. But their dog is getting older, and her arthritis prevents her from accompanying Barbara on her adventures. So with Brad and Barbara, our babies will have the lives we dream of for the death-row pets we rescue, after theyve been abandoned by the people theyve loved. They will be loved and treasured, with the training and exercise they need to be well-balanced, emotionally and physically healthy, happy dogs. Were thrilled for the whole family!
